It’s Been A While…
Yes, I’ve been on quite an extended hiatus! Life with a baby, a PhD to finish and copywriting jobs to work through has been very busy – who woulda thunk it??
So although I’ve been lucky enough to be off doing some very entertaining things like going to Newbies screenings at the Odeon, mum and baby yoga sessions at Mandala Yoga, baby massage classes, album launches, swanky dinners at The Barking Dog (get the steak with bearnaise sauce, you won’t regret it!), Hooligan (good cocktails, chicken supreme was indeed supreme, service…lackadaisical!), L’Etoile, Greens and Coco (great bar area, beautiful desserts), browsing in St. George’s market, checking out the small but perfectly formed ‘Putting on the Glitz’ costume exhibition in the Ulster Museum (vintage Lanvin. nuf said) and the new(ish) Philip Napier ‘Expecting the Terror’ exhibition at Ormeau Baths Gallery, lazy late breakfasts in all the nicest cafes, wallowing in the seaweed baths at Soak, rhyme time at the library, dinner parties, cocktails, dancing round the handbag in The Deers Head and Love and Death and goodness knows what else I just haven’t found the time to write about them! So my apologies…
But hopefully W[r]ite Noise will be back with some degree of frequency later this year, though, alas, I can’t really say when. The summer perhaps!
Meantime, love to you all and hope you enjoy these pretty pics from our Sunday stroll in Ormeau Park – felt a bit chilly but spring is definitely in the air :)
